Well take a look at this first: http://www.dsschat.com/ddfresh/temp/example.jpg That pic is an example of what I want to do... You see the main box where the content will be and where it will load when a link is clicked. What I want to know is how do you make it like this without using frames or IFrames (I heard that IFrame dosent work in NS). I heard that what I want to do can be done with with Java.. But i'm not sure.. I want to be able to load each page into that box and have a scroll for goin up and down... Can anyone help me? Any link to Tut's or info would be awesome. Thanks a million DD PS. That pic took like 5 mins.. I just wanted to show you what i'm taling about ;-) __________________ |

You would have a lot more trouble doing that in Java than you would an iFrame or Frames. I suggest either as a solution. You mean like on the front of the TeamPS page, right? There is a section in the forum FAQ about that. I think it has a link to a script you can use. Otherwise just search on google for a dHTML Scroller.

for it to look "exactly" like that...well pretty close... then you'd have to use a div overflow stuff... but if you want it to scroll by itself... you can go to www.bratta.com i think that's the one then go to the DHTML one... and search around for it... you'll just need to make your own pics etc for the arrows and what not... |
