A ancient story in China

Hello.everybody

On October 1st is the national day in our country, we have a seven-days holiday, and there is a conventional feast day in that week. It called mid-autumn festival. This is an important day in China. Each family would be reunion at this day. In this day, we eat moon cake. It is delicious. There is an interesting age-old legend: Long long ago, there was a beautiful girl named Change. She is the most beautiful girls all over the world. When she had grown up, she married with a handsome boy. This boy has the biggest strength. One day, there were ten suns in the sky. The world has become hoter and hoter. Lives cannot live. Many many lives died. This boy named Houyi. He used a bow made the other nine suns fall down. The world has restorable. So, God gave him some medicine which can made him live forever, never old or die. Change knew this stange medicine. One day, when Houyi was not at home, she took it out and ate it. Suddenly, she was flying, flying into the moon, but can not come back any more. Spend her longly time here, because there is no people in the moon except Change. Change love Houyi. She miss Houyi everyday. So, every year , she throw moon cake to the world from the moon. In order to commemorate this day, we ate moon cakes, it is round,like the moon. It is stand for reunion.

Is this "moon cake" what we people in America call a "moon pie".

similar I guess, in that they are round like the moon.
