Eurovision... Anyone see it?

Did anyone see the Eurovision Song Contest last night... I saw bits and pieces, load of crap really IMO.

Finland one, I think for the first time... Song was OK... They were all dressed up as monsters or something. UK entry pretty crap and we came 18/24. Better than 'nil point' though

Hehe, I saw bits and pieces aswell, as there was hockey on... Sweden in the finals, whoopped Canada last night. Better TV than ESC.

Sweden 5'th place I think...not good. Finland - Congrats, I guess ;), but Oh...My...God !!! What the f-word did they look like ?

Hahah... oh man. After Finland won, we got so drunk, it's not even funny. :D
And yeah.. "Lordi" is a joke, but then... so is the contest itself. I'm just glad we won.

Sweden should be first though......LOL

Oh it's great :rolleyes:

Basically about 24 European countires all send an artist or group to the country that won the competition last year, and each sing a song... Then each country gives their top 10 list and allots points... You know... the greeks vote for the cypriots, the andorrans vote for the spanish, scandinavian all vote for each other (sorry guys), the russians vote for the ukranians etc... And nobody votes for the brits Even though they had good reason not to this year... our song was crap.

The competition was better in the seventies and eighties with bands such as ABBA and Bucks Fizz, but now... it's just a bit of fun to watch if nothing much else is on and you happen to be near a TV... but saying that... millions do really enjoy it.
