The official release of IE 6 is out. It's supposed to be pretty swell from what I hear. Everyone download it!

I'll do that later this weekend; however, I'm not too keen on the Smart Tags. Did Microsoft include them in IE 6?

Didn't they break QuickTime and kill any use of Java (or is it JavaScript they did away with) because they no longer want to support a plugin architecture?

If this is true, does it make you love MacroSuck even more?

I don't really use any plug-ins. Or Java. Or Quicktime. So I don't really notice. It's supposed to do CSS perfectly though, which is much more important to me than whether I see a spinning Nike shoe on Nike.com with Quicktime VR or whatever.

So? It's still better than any other browser. Stop being so pessimistic!
