So... 4th July...

... Well did any of you guys do anything good for the Holiday weekend? Being a Brit myself, it was just a normal weekend - albeit a hectic one (we just moved house)...

I visited some family outta town in Indiana, and visited Chicago for a couple days. Lit off some fireworks in a church parking lot, slept, then woke up the next day and drove like a mofo back to NY.

Fun times.

My husband and I spent the 4th down by the puget sound in Seattle where they put on an excellent fireworks show every year. It was a lot of fun although i wished it was a little bit more warm here.

i painted my apartment with the roommates, bought a grill and then grilled burgers and watched fireworks from our balcony with some friends...nice and relaxing.

I'm on vacation now, so I was out on the beach, grillin' and drinking beer, as any day that I've got off. :D

I had a great weekend - I saw Weezer and the Red Hot Chili Peppers - HUGE free show - over 50K people for the Vegas Rocks 100 concert, then 2 nights later I saw Social Distortion for $12 at Red White and Boom. I think I got my concert fix for a while... for cheap!

... and I drank lots of beer. You had to - it was 108 degrees!

We didn't go anywhere. I was tied to the puter, we relaunched wifey's site [SPAM] http://www.jackiegamber.com [/SPAM] with a HTML newsletter, and then went to some friends to watch fireworks. There was a thunderstorm on the horizon behind the display--God was adding his touch to the show!

Two bands I've never seen, but would love to. And you got to see them together AND for FREE!?!?
