School is waste of money and time

Those are some really great thoughts Chris. I too em in the where am going with this and are my teachers at this point any good. But I also see my other classmates coming out with some really great stuff and I am jealous because I am not there and want to be. So i thank you for giving some great advice and telling us to design everything. I am having a hard time with designing things with an artistic background and a love for photography and painting, but it seems to be where do the two connect and how can I unlease my talent when I am still gaining skills for different programs like photoshop.

glad to help. when it comes to learning don't worry so much about learning photoshop skills, just figure out what you want to create and then start doing it. you'll learn as you go along and need to do certain things to get the look you want.

despite the tens of thousands of pages that have been written on photoshop and new feature after new feature after new feature that adobe has told us we need, i still only use a handful of tools on a regular basis
