I think it has some pretty sweet new features. I won't know for sure until I get to dig in but it seems worth the upgrade. Not to mention the auto tracing feature in Illustrator has been updated and is supposed to be much better.

There's a review if you like. I think the new bridge app looks really useful, finally be able to get some consistant colour between InDesign and photoshop will be great. Looks like the best upgrade in a while.

I've heard the whole suite is running really slow for some people though, so i hope that gets fixed up.

Yeah, I ordered the suite so I'll post when I get it and play with it for a bit.

I think that "Smart Objects" thinghy may be the sole reason to clam out some shells.. Awesome feature. If I had a penny for every time I wished I could have something I pasted from Illustrator as vector... heh - awesome!

The weird clone tool is nice - but uber specialised in my opinion. It's not every day that you're able to work with sharp edged proportionally correct and fluent items.
As for the autotrace.. it's just like WYSIWG html apps.... only in this case is a lot less than "what you see" hihi.

where's that Flash Illustrator integration??? that's what I want.

You can't export as .swf?
Now that Adobe has bought out Macromedia I am sure they will be very friendly in the future.
