yay I got an HP iPAQ hx4700 I've been a Palm fan for years now and I must say Windows Mobile is not as good (at least for me). The screen in unbelievably bright and clear (full VGA), processor speed is great...the applications fire up instantly... but they're not as well thought out as the Palm counterparts. There's a close button (x) that doesn't close applications - rather it hides them. Weird. In addition this new version of iPAQ comes with a touchpad - like the laptops. Bad move. I like buttons better... I guess I'll have to get used to it. there's a great review here written by two tech chicks one thing I must say. if you buy one of these new VGA thinghies.. look for apps that will support full VGA - pdf's look weird.. fonts go bad.. it's the first time I had a device ahead of the applications. Usually I was two steps behind hihi All in all it's great... *any of you care to ask why I bought a PDA if I sit all day long in front of the computer? |

haah that's the question isn't it? I read. A lot. Even when I sit on the... you know But mostly at night.. while my better half sleeps. And she can't stand the light. And I have about a gazillion ebooks but I can read on a lesser machine than what I bought. I bought that particular one because it's cool, because I like PDAs ... and I hope to keep it for a long time. I'm sure in a couple of years we'll have PDAs that run on 6 ghz processors and have 100 gigs harddrives... and I'd like to still be able to use mine:P |

Fair enough then. I was hoping for a answer like "I got it to go with my new Aston Martin that shoots rockets, because i'm really a 007 agent" But reading on the toilet sounds just as cool :D

You know, I haven't noticed the color of my cursor until I looked right at it right about now. I always thought it was white but it's black. Which is awesome ... yet freaky (the fact that I haven't noticed that is). And reading on the can = awesomebeans. Although I'd love to do crosswords on 'em. |
