MDMA trials begin for U.S. soldiers

Giving ecstasy to soldiers.

These MDMA tests look promising if they are allowed to proceed. This could start a wave of empathy and hopefully a few of these soldiers will become activists for peace.

The only problem I foresee is if the drug is taken too frequently in which case it will metabolize into speed and this wouldn't be good.

First, you need to study up more on the biochemistry of synthetic MDMA. C'mon V.M., you know better than this, regarding the metabolistic process, especially at clinical dosages.

Secondly, these tests would be done under the most strict clinical settings possible, since it's presently classed as a dangerous drug. It would be similar to doing trials with heroin, in the eyes of present US law. Under these conditions, the effects the doctors would be arranging to produce and study would be quite dissimilar to typical street doses of MDMA of questionable quantity and quality.

Of the "peace activists" I have met, the majority of them were once or are currently soldiers. They didnt join the military to kill ****. They joined to be able to afford to feed their families or go to college. Blowing **** up just happens to be in the job description.
