brand new mobile broadband

so.. I got me this new mobile modem...
I get about 300-400k a second... on my laptop...anywhere:D
the modem is roughly the size of a small mobile phone..but much lighter. And it's all usb so I only need pull it out of the laptop and plug it into the big box...hihi. Paid a lot of good money on it but I'm so loving this!

Does that use your local cell phone network?

Why go mobile when I can download everything I need at 900k - 1 Mb on my regular internet-connection and then transfer it over to my phone with a bluetooth-dongle.... ?

yeah it uses a mobile carrier.
the thing is - it's much faster than a usual mobile connection (like when you use your cell phone as a modem) and there is no other way to get broadband and still be able to move around...
I don't have much use for it but my girl runs around town all day long with papers and stuff and once or twice a month she gets called to some contract or other out of town... and she takes the laptop.
