If you look at my page, in the upper-right-hand-corner, I think it says "Member Since:". And mine says: Member since: Nov-04-98 That's a long-ass time. |

You must be a good seller. If you sell some golf equipment that I need this spring, I'll buy it.

You bastards...I don't buy anything from Ebay in like 8 months, and now I bid on a golf club I don't need, and if I win, I'm sure to get my ass kicked by my wife....sheesh: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7132025428&ssPageName=STRK:MEBI:IT |

Hahahahaha! Good luck slim, maybe you'll get outbid and you won't have to worry about your wife beatin' on you...depending on how you look at it, that might not be a bad thing though. Anyhow, I try to be an honest seller and just get the items to people in a timely manner, it always works when you can find a good fast carrier, depending on what you're selling. As far as golf goes, I don't sell any golf equipment, although my brother has a full set of Callaway golf clubs, with the head covers and embroidered Callaway logo on each cover, the bag, and towels. I'm not sure how much he'll want for it, but it might be up on eBay soon. But keep your fingers crossed cuz you might get outbid...uh, oh oh, I just noticed there's 12 hours left...hmmm, never know what might happen. On another note, I just noticed I've been a member since 2000. So I'm not that far behind you...man, time flies. Cheers! |

Oh great, I won. I'm trying to hush my giggles here in my office because I just had someone walk by and give me the old funny-eyes. I wish I had a set of Callaway irons. I've had the same old set for 4 years now, but my pocketbook is a little slim, so I can't afford to spend $1500 for 10 pieces of steel. |

Slim you won! Congrats man. See that's the trick behind eBay, to make us think we "won" when what we really are, is simply the highest bidder which means we pay. Arrrghhh! Those dirty dogs. But hey, the Callaway set is gorgeous, and my brother used them maybe once, but after two daughters a new home and a serious weight gain, there's not much golfin' to do anymore. We could always make a trade. Got a nice G4 Powerbook laying around anywhere? Anyway, hope you have a great one and improve your game man. Cheers! |

I hate Ebay, I've never bought anything that I actually NEEDED. No, but I have a petrified alligator head on my computer desk that I'll trade for it, which is probably the only thing of value that I own. It's gotta' be worth at least $20. Well there is a whole lot of room for improvement, let me tell ya'. I think in the last 3 years I've actually added 3 strokes to my game. Some days I seriously wonder why I even play this game. And the damn thing was actually $50 after shipping. I always forget about that part until the Paypal stuff goes through. Cheese and rice, I wonder if I can sneak that past the wife. |

Slim, here's what I do. Whenever I get an item that I don't need, I just sell it back starting at the price I paid for it. I create a real nice looking auction ad and post it and give it a real good description. I mean $50 bucks for something you don't need...? Next time you feel like buying something you don't need just PayPal me the amount you'd like to spend and voila...just like that I'll send you a thank you card. Oh yeah, plus if you sell it back, you can buy the wifey something really nice for Valentine's Day, I'm sure she'll be thankful ;) |
