program that turns photos into cartoons

hey,

i believe its a program made by kodak that allows you to turn regular pics into cartoon pics...are there any other programs that do this? could someone please convert a couple pics for me?

There is no way a program could do this with any decent results. The only way to do it would be to draw it or trace it over the original photograph.

ive seen the end results before, it doesnt fully turn it into a cartoon, it just gives cartoon effects, for use of a better word...

Photoshop can do something similar with filters...

He is probably talking about Corel Trace or something to the effect.

Well do you have photoshop? Just learn how to use the pen tool and trace over your image...seems to me like you just want something quick and you aren't concerned about learning the process behind it..but then again that's your choice. But if you want quality results, I think it would take more time tweaking a filter or trace tool than actually doing it with the pen.

Let me see what you want done and I will see what I can come up with. No promises though.
