I have a friend who lives at Coal Point. He's a great illustrator who does a lot of design work for American race car promotion.

If the price was right, and I had a good idea about working out immigration status, I'd think about it.

I even have experience designing for large format and billboards, among my other skills.

My friend's name is Steve Vesperman. You can see his work at the link below:
http://www.portfolios.com/profile.wga?MyUrl=SteveVesperman

I'm kind of surprised he only has 5 pieces up on his portfolio page...I've seen many more. He's not much of a coder, so I completely understand why he doesn't have his own website.

I couldn't see moving for an AUD equivalency of less than US$50/k + benefits + Relocation expenses. I'd have to know more about the type of work you're doing, LAV. And it'd have to be one sweet contract for me to pull up stakes and move to NSW. I'd really live to visit Steve, his wife and the area in general (as well as some friends from the Aukland area), but actually moving there would require a serious career opportunity. I'm not going to even think about it if the company doesn't have a good track record.

I tried to get to your homepage (as shown in your profile) but it doesn't seem to work. Is your business similar to the UK airotic.com?

$50k US makes what roughly AUD$85k (guessing) +benefits+relocation expenses Im sure you are worth it but thats too much for us at this stage. Im sure i'll find some one closer to home...
airotic was a hobby airbrush site i used to run which no longer exists, Im not going to post my url because there are some people who use this forum that i know and i dont want them to know who i am (devious? i know)

As far as good track record goes we do some work for some pretty well known australian companies (not naming them here)

Im not full of **** this would be a great job for some one who has some design knowledge, who wants to start out in the industry, learn a bit about big size printing, as well as still do a stack of bread and butter work like bizi cards, flyers, logos, labels, occasional website, as well as learn with us about 3d mould making with our new 3d milling machine (engraver)
