I dunno how many people here are into jazz or latin, or fusion, but if you're into any of them, you probably know Chick Corea...

It was amazing, his group totally sold me on buying his new CD if that's the kind of music he's playing.

That's one of the most attractive things about jazz. I've seen drop-your-jaw-on-the-floor brilliant, world class and world famous jazz musicians in little tiny clubs (I'm talking fire-code capacity of 60 people small), and the players are almost always more accessible for chatting after the show.
