Kerry conceded at 11:30 today, didn't he? I just got on a comp at school, and haven't been to CNN yet.

Oh, just checked it.

I almost wanted Kerry to win, just so Sum 41, Green day, Incubus, and all those other bands would just shut the hell up with their poorly thought out Pop-Liberalism, and let Rage Against the Machine do it the right way, but alas, they are no more.

ANYWAY

As a conservative, I'm pleased, but not surprised.

Surprised Kerry took New York? Gore took it in 2000. New England usually goes democrat. The surprising thing is that Bush took New Mexico.

Definitely.

Although, unfortunately, upstate and western NY are more or less republican (as a general rule). However, our vote is always overturned by New York city, which is arguably the most liberal city in the country, besides perhaps LA

He MIGHT take it, just on his widely known track record.

That's how elections should be held. The best man for the job gets it by proving in other arenas that he's the best man for the job.

I can see Gulliani vs Hillary in 2008. That’s my prediction. ;)

If that's the case, giulani's got it.

Hillary's only there because she was the democratic candidate. Also, it seems NYC seems to have taken a Why not? This should be interesting at least. kind of view toward electing her. And I know for a fact that she's not very well liked elsewhere in the state, not because she's a democrat, but because she doesn't know what the hell she's doing. I mean, this is I believe the only elected office she's held ever, and just got it on namesake.

Kerry, Bush, democrats, republicans,... is there really that big of a difference between them?

Give me a Libertarian president.
