Seems to good to be true doesn't it?? That is about 2k cheaper at least than if you bought it at the apple store... I'm very tempted. Ebay does seem very good about getting your money back if it is not 'as stated'... Thoughts...

I would never buy a computer on eBay man. Especially a Mac. Powerbooks are one of the most scammed things on eBay... Not worth the risk in my opinion. Who buys that much hardware and then just sells it on ebay? nope nope. wouldn't do it.

What do you mean by "scammed"? Fake parts or just take your money?
He has 10 of them for sale...

And look at his feedback...no feedback from buyers. He gets like 10 duplicate messages from every seller he deals with, and he isn't even a registered user anymore. He also sends like 10 of the same message to those sellers. (Or maybe it's being weird on me...) I wouldn't risk it.

Yeah I noticed that too. Normally when something seems too good to be true it is. But once in the while you get lucky. I was just curious if you guys had any experience or had heard anything about stuff like this...

Scammed as in never receiving the item. They steal accounts, take pictures from other auctions and sites, and use fake escrow services.

Auctions dead. Must have been pulled by ebay. Guess it "was" too good to be true ;)
