interesting. i feel like some of the flip-flop stuff with kerry has been blown a bit out of proportion, an individual does have a right to change their position based on new information. however, changing your position vs saying you'd never done something you earlier said you would've done are two very different situations. 2 thru 5 in particular bothered me... chris |

I really enjoyed watching Kerry make Bush look like a chump. I can't wait for the other debates.

I thought it misrepresented his points he was trying to make.

care to elaborate? sorry, but this is the kinda thing i get tired of, its ok to attack bush when he says dumb things (which i'll admit he does and can't really defend, he does put his foot in his mouth at times) but when kerry does it he's being misrepresented i mean, if you say something, whether it was what you meant or not, you still said it, true? if kerry directly contradicts himself i find it hard to pass that off as a point being misrepresented or incorrectly interpreted. chris |

Did bush actually answer the second question he got? (Will the United States be more at risk if Senator Kerry were to be elected?)

He never really answered any question that indirectly put his authority in question. IE anyhing related to Iraq. He avoided as much information as possible. Whether Saddam was a bad man doesn't answer the question sticking to premptive stike in general. Plus, it's a pre-september 11th mentality, not september 10th. If you're going to keep milking that, at least recall to the right event (since it was so tragic to him). |

Kerry has no desire to represent any truth or ideal he holds. He ONLY wants to say what his advisors tell him will make him popular. I'll take a man of values and conviction who bumbles a few things in a debate over a spineless, pointless, valueless sap any day! If that isn't convincing enough for you... just look at their wives. If you thought Hillary was scary... take a LONG look at Teresa Heinz Kerry. |

I'm also interested in how he thought Kerry made Bush look like a chump.
