I bought a USB 2.0 card for my PC, since it was cheaper than a firewire card., and who knows if I will ever need to plug my iPod into a USB 2.0 computer without firewire, now I can. After buying the card I've moved almost all my USB 1.1 things to 2.0 and they are so much better now. Although, I do feel jiped, I bought a 5 USB port 2.0 card, there are 4 right on the back of the card, and one inside on the back of the chip itself. WTF?

Yeah, same here... I completely do not get that. I guess you theoretically could hook up and external harddrive in there adn just have it internal lol. That would be odd but it would work, maybe save some space by putting it inside. lol, ok so that is completely retarded, but it is my only idea.

That is actually to connect an additional USB port for the front of the computer case.

I have two firewire inputs and like thirteen USB 2.0's, lol. That's including the external USB hub, though.

Nos.

I appreciate all the help guys, but I still have a couple questions. What is the difference between a firewire card and a firewire input (like a usb input). And also, how do you have 13 USB inputs!? Where is there room for that on your comp? Thanks guys and sorry if these questions sound really lame. Lol.

card is refering to like a PCI card. If you have Firewire ports on your mobo, then it would be included. but both will have a firewire port thingy.
