The two of you better mellow the hell out or bannings might be flying. Don't start flamewars all over the place, don't participate in them either, this is a thread to welcome a new member, what kind of impression do we want to give to him? Jeeze. Calm down, both of you. And weclome, dcloud. Pay no mind to the two of them right here. I have seen better from Kinetik, and cannot speak for atomicfog because, as he said, he is 'new'. |

I just thought I might point out that he is the on flaming me. And I did not ask for him to flame me in the middle of this welcoming post. I even told him to PM me about this. Anyhow I am sorry for writing back to him in this post, but that was pretty messed up. To Dcloud: Btw I signed up for photoshop cafe :D |

I really don't care if the Easter Bunny started it, point is, it happened, and you both participated, making both parties responsible. Now, that is the last I even want to hear of this in this thread, let's get back on topic, if either of you want to discuss this further, please PM me.

Welcome dcloud. Visited your website, seems like you're pretty good with vector illustrations.
Welcome dcloud. Visited your website, seems like you're pretty good with vector illustrations.
Thanks, sidez .... actually I have Illustrator version 9 (I think), but that program boggles my mind so I hardly ever use it. The only design where I did use AI was for the UFO - Ultimate Frisbee Organization - design. I used it to make the shapes for the design and then the text along the path of the frisbee (UFO). This was for a guy who is head of his college championship frisbee team (they even compete in the Olympics). It was fun, but other than making shapes I am lost in that program. I am more at home with Photoshop, and besides ... I use the Pen Tool a lot in my designs and since anything made with the Pen is vector-based I can simply resize the path or shape I've made. - dc |

I share the same experience, cept I never had anything come out of Illustrator. Was expecting it to be somewhat similar to PS. Still sticking with just PS for now.
