Or you could just buy a universal remote for $10. Or, since you're using your pocket pc to make this thing anyway, you could just use it as the remote. But it's a pretty geeky trick... i posted it on forevergeek yesterday.

That's just too much work to get it to work. I just need to install TotalRemote on my phone and done.. For the iPod geeks i guess ;)

I don't think that would be worth it. After like 30 minutes you'd be back to getting up to change the channels while you recharging the defective battery. :p
