CS proffessional to the rescue! (i'm and addict) What they linked you to is 1.5, but the most current version is 1.6. It runs off a program called Steam, which as long as you have 1 CD Key, you have access to any of the HL mods. (HL, CS, Blue Shift, Day of Defeat, Opposing Force, etc.) Download steam at http://www.steampowered.com , and there you go. Msg me on AIM or MSN if you ever wanna play, kin3tik energy = aim , kinetik @ gmail.com= msn. :D |

Yeah. As long as you have 1 cd key - this is the point. You have a half-life cd key so you're good to run. I didn't realize that until after trying a load of 'legged cd-keys, I found that my blue shift one works (and no one really gives a crap about blue shift xD) This would be a good thread to ask you all... What's your opinion of Steam? Was 1.6 an improvement after all? oh and by the way... we should make a teamps CS clan :P *shoots self* |

1.6 is so much better, it eliminated almost all hacks due to the new vac update. It also is a ton more user-friendly imo.
"Blue Shift, Day of Defeat, Opposing Force, etc"...do these come with the 1.6 upgrade..and also, what are they? Sorry..never played this game before..
All of those mods come for free if you have a half life cd key. Day of Defeat is a world war type game like counter-strike. Blue Shift is a single player game like half life. Opposing Force is another think like half life. The following come with Half Life cd key for free: Counter-strike Day of Defeat Team Fortress Classic Opposing Force Ricochet Codename Gordon Deathmatch Classic The following are not supported by steam and require the normal cd to run: Blue Shift |

I get motion sickness from HL, but CS is no problem, its really wierd. And hermit, he was talking about REAL mods/games that Valve put out, not funny mods. |
