Dell Jukebox is a great alternitive if the Ipod is out of your price range. I personally love my iPod, I fell in love with its sleek and sexy design since the moment I layed eyes on him!

does anyone know if iPod accessories will fit both 4G and 3G iPods? I went to the ipodlounge.com and they are having technical difficulties...

I just accessorized the hell out of my ipod setup for my car. It's nice having all those songs in the car with 0 CD's... the iTrip was a little difficult to figure out at first, their directions really suck.

Isn't it fun to be outdated? I've had my 3G 15GB iPod for exactly 1 year, and now it's out of production... bummer. I still love it, though. I use the firewire to transfer files from work to home, photos, etc. and still have a truckload of songs with me everywhere. Couldn't be happier... unless it was a 4th generation, that is...

what's the big deal about ipods? they seem like they're just trendy.

I got a nomad jukebox zen xtra for 300 bucks like 6 months ago, and it's a 40 gig. Couldn't be happier.

removable battery too. In fact, I hardly use the battery at all. I use the car adapter for traveling, and the charger (w/o the battery) when around the house. so I'm set for life.
