I am a newbie to Photoshop using CS on a XP system. On the contact II page I only see Times New Roman, Arial, and Courier listed as available fonts, despite the fact that I have many more fonts installed on my PC. The three fonts available do not print clearly at the 6 point settings I want to use for the contact sheet. I assume that there must be a way to either have Photoshop access the other fonts I have on my PC or there is a way to install more fonts directly in CS. Would you please tell me how to do either or both? Please provide specific instructions as I am really just starting. thanks. |

Copy all the fonts to your C:\%systemdirectory%\fonts folder. Most likely, since you are on XP (unless you upgraded from NT or 2000), then you need to copy them to: C:\windows\fonts When copying, you will see a dialog box that looks like this: That way you ensure that your fonts are installed. If you are still having issues after you try that, let us know and we can continue to troubleshoot your issues. |

thank you for your response. All of my fonts are installed in C:/windows/fonts and are readily available in Word for example. The problem is that CS only sees three fonts and I would like to change at least one of the fonts to one of the other fonts that I ahev installed. |

No, MCL, that wouldn't make any sense at all. CS uses fonts just like 6 and 7. I don't see why this is happening either. I'll try to figure it out later on.

Well I'm glad you didn't turn to pirating it, like most people without money do.
