So I'm getting a computer, meaning new mouse. I need a mouse that is really accurate, etc. My optical wireless is pretty bad as far as accuracy goes. What mice do you guys have and would you siggest them?

Yep, wireless mice aren't worth their price. The orientation is crappy and I don't like them at all. For games or design, a good mouse is the Logitech MX500, an optical mouse that is comfortable and precise, you'd like it. Link Now there are other models, but you gotta decide wich one you like the best I guess Other logitech mice |

I use the MX700 (Wireless) and the MX500 (Same one, but with a cord) they are exactly the same as far as accuracy and speed. The MX700 has a split-second delay when you first try to move it after it's been sitting motionless for several minutes and goes into power-saving mode. But other than that it's the same as the MX500, though a little heavier. I've played FPS games with both and notice no difference. Both are great mice.

MX700 is a good one. Plus it has that recharge cradle. My wireless Logitech mouse eats a pair of AA batteries every 2 weeks. *wishes I would have bought the mx700*

They are right where they usually are. Just formed as part of the chassis.

I don't think wireless models have really hit the mark yet, nor battery operated ones. I say go with a microsoft optical with a tail, loads of mice to choose from. |

Best gaming mouse for accuracy I've ever owned was a Boomslang. Don't know if they're still even made.... It was a ball mouse with optical sensors for the roller bars. 2400 dpi. It rocked.

Hermit, have you actually tried the MX700? I had an older logitech wireless that sucked, but the MX700 is just like a regular corded mouse. But you pay for it I guess. It's pretty expensive.
