Friday, June 25th, 2004 was a day I had been waiting for a while. I had purchased general admission standing tickets, right in front of the stage, boy was I excited.

6:02 - I got on the train, began my journey to the concert.

6:34 - I arrive in NYC, grab a bite to eat, walk upstairs from Penn Station into Madison Square Garden.

6:45 - Sparta, the opening band, takes stage and rocks house. I really enjoyed them even though thier equipment was poorly set up.

7:15 - Incubus falls in, drums start to pound, guitars start to sing, I think I hear it! Megalomaniac!

The set continues, here it is:
Megalomaniac (Open)
Nice To Know You
Idiot Box
Just a Phase
Priceless
Nowhere Fast
Wish You Were Here
Warning
Here In My Room (Mikey on Piano)
Drive (remix)
-Jam session-
Vitamin (Brandon and Ben drumming with Jose)
Pistola
A Crow Left of The Murder
Talk Shows on Mute
Sick Sad Little World
A Certain Shade of Green
-Kilmore scratch solo-
Pantomime
The Warmth
Pardon Me (Closing Encore)

11:00 - The show ends early but it was great.
11:45 - I arrive home.
12:15 - I hit the hay, thats it for the night.

Overall I thought they played well, but did not play what I wanted to hear. I was hoping and expecting a little bit more from SCIENCE due to the fact that they hadn't played much of it at the previous concert. It was a run-of-the-mill Incubus concert, nothing spectacular.

It may sound like I didn't like the show, but I did by all means! They still played great, and hey they are Incubus and thats who I support and go to see. There will always be room for dissapointment, but things such as Idiot Box, Sick Sad Little World, A Certain Shade of Green, and Vitamin will always keep me coming back for more.

Was anybody here at the show? Anybody here like Incubus?

I like all Incubus, except for their newest album A Crow Left the Murder or whatever, it was crap. And SCIENCE is by far my favorite album. They are a band I have listened to ever since I was a wee lad. (Yes, even younger than I am now.) I was considering going to that specific show, but I am leaning more towards Weird Al, because well, I love the man. Most hate him, yes, but, oh well. :D
