[QUOTE=Nostalgia]I think we've all learned our lesson here, though:

If you want a girlfriend, you have to uninstall Photoshop.

Your logic is flawed. Someone here runs a photoshop WEBSITE. Unless, he really has no better half AND he gets none.

No. If you want a girl, you have to either uninstall Photoshop, or just be REALLY crappy at it, and never really use it anyway. There is no way (unless perhaps hell freezes over) that you can manage a girl and Photoshop.

Heck, screw electricity while you're at it. Girls like candles.

Nos.

Who needs girlfriends when you have photoshop?
You can always photoshop some models standing next to you and show it to all your friends and tell them that, that chick is your gf.

Or you can just get married and never sleep. She HAS to sleep at somepoint. You on the other hand find a nice window of time at 2 am, even though you wake at 6:30...

Ha! It's crazy man, I just read Tele's post and I've felt the same way at times in regards to what goes on the net isn't really real, as in tangible. I trip out how numbers transfer around in my accounts, I hit up the ATM machine and there's cash...wow! I find it interesting, but I think that people like Tele, who are thinkers (from reading many of his posts and debates) really flip when they go out in a tangible world.

I'm not degrading Tele, although he's 16, it's a funny feeling when you go out and life just kind of hits you and you think, "Dang, what am I doing sitting at the computer for hours, it's a ball and chain!"

It's true computers are part of an everyday life, but like me learning Photoshop and web design and having created a couple, there were times I'd rather work with people and see smiles, and talk and share rather than type. To hear voices and and to speak and be human again, to become one with nature....hahahahaha! Okay, I know I'm sounding like a Hallmark card, but I think I can empathize with Tele, but I don't see myself putting Photoshop away any time soon.

Enjoy life, live in the vigor of it, and share yourself with others. Give and receive, and be happy that you're alive...really, life is grand.

Cheers!

There should indeed be a balance. The internet is another whelm, it isn't a waste. You are communicating with people around the world, sharing common interests, making friends... only they live on the opposite side of the planet (literally and also figurally speaking).

We shouldn't rot on the WWW, but we should appreciate it.
