How again is the "thumbs up" photo a sensitive issue? If you're such an educated guy, enlighten me Oh Wise One.

Welll maybe i jumped the gun on this one, its just that i associated the thubs up with the marine and the photographs from the prison in iraq? I hope you know the ones im talking about. Its just that i have friends and lots of people i know in iraq/afganistan and i know how they feel right now due to the whole scandal situation. Its not fair for us to be making fun of the whole situation. Still you do not have to always come and try to insult people right from the start.
And i know i dont put much attention to my spelling and stuff, but hey sue me,

Let's see.
Letting off some steam by making some stupid comments (that are pretend by the way) on a Photoshopped cardboard sign... or ... chopping off a head. We just could not have one thread where we can have a little fun. That's right. I said a little fun.

There is nothing fun about war. There is nothing fun about anything going on over there. So we play around with a stupid picture because that is what we do. We divert all our angst and anger into something we can laugh at sometimes. It's called human nature. As I SAID, don't disrespect... As adults I feel we have every right to express out emotions for both sides. If I see a stupid little pic and I type something on it and it makes me chuckle then good for me. All the rest of the time I'm sick to my stomach thinking about assholes over there slaughtering people. I take that back... not assholes, animals. Humans don't act like that. Are we killing people in this war. Yes we are. Are they killing people in this war, yes they are. It is a war after all. But some of the things that have been done are beyond war, and beyond human. Think what you want of me but the assholes that are tearing people up with their bare hands, burning the corpses, and then hanging them from a bridge are animals. The people slowly cutting off that poor guys head are animals. I have yet to see "proof" (yet I said) of us doing anything like that.

Are they all bad over there? Of course not. All they all animals? Of course not. But a lot are, and I'm sick of having a PC war. That is our problem.

I knew if I started this post this would happen. Somebody would misinterpet what is going on. I'm going to say if you don't like it that is your problem... Just because I run a board does not mean I can't say what I really feel. I bite my tongue so many times it's ready to fall off. This time I don't care. Oh and guess what. A pyramid of butt crack, a female pointing and giving a thumbs up to a "prisoners"weiner, a "prisoner" with panities on his head.... Yeah. I see no big deal with that.

Anybody getting hurt in any way in that prison wrongly I 100% disagree with. Torture versus panties on head. Big difference. If we find that a soldier of ours tortured/murdered a single person then they deserve to go to jail/or be punished themselves.

A world is outraged because (for the moment) they have seen pictures of so called torture. I don't give a flying rats ass but panties on your head is not torture. A pyramid of butt is not torture.

Getting your head sawed off IS torture. Hanging burning corpses after tearing them apaprt with your bare hands is torture.

Where is my F'ing applogy?? Huh! Where are all the people outraged around the world after what happend to Americans that have been slaughtered. Oh, I should say american "civilians". But yet we have to say we are sorry for a f'ing panty head. Give me a break.

And, I know worse pic's are coming out that are going to be bad. My point is we are saying sorry for what we know of right now. Which in my opinion is a joke. Release all the pics where we know for a fact that somebody was unjustly hurt or killed... Then I'll agree with an apology. But maybe only after we get ours first.

Oh and Fess, you link was removed. I want no part of that. If people really want to see they can find it on their own. I know I don't need to see it. It would only blur my judgement. It's hard to try to keep a level head as it is. Humans are emotional... That's what we do.

That was gorgeous pank, here here! I agree, the media is BLOWING this Abu Ghraib thing out of proportion. CNN hardly reported on that burning-tearing-body incident you keep mentioning, but i saw those images - they were horrific. Of course, ever since the "abuse" occurred at Abu Ghraib, CNN has had it on the front of their politics page. Weeks have passed, and it's still on the frontpage! I'm not saying such a thing should not be reported, and i'm not CONDONING what the captors did, but i certainly don't think it is worth the fuss that we are giving it.

I can understand people being opposed to the war, but stop using death and abuse as your political puppets, dreamdesign.

Nos.

I think that beheading disturbed a lot of people. I know it freaked me out.

I don't really see the connection between the cardboard picture and the beheading. Except that they both occured in Iraq.

My take on the Abu Ghraib prison incident is it's part of a big plot to take down the Bush administration and definitely Rumsfeld. But of course the pawns will get the spanking. I honestly believe CIA or some operatives told them to due whatever it takes to break the prisoners down. You have to be kind of messed up to start doing that sh*t for fun without a motive behind it. But then the this war might make one want to do weird sh*t.

I think the Bush administration is way over their heads now and things didn't quite go as they had planned.

all funny hu? have anny of you seen the decapitation video? not so funny now hu? idiots you think all that thumbs up **** is funny wee is not. and if you wanna see the video i have it maybe then you would think those pictures are funny.

This is incredible. This outrages me. Why can we not have a little fun? Do you understand that society-deemed-credible methods of combating terrorism - such as religion and patriotism and the like - are all fine and dandy, but they are only in balance when they ahve a sense of humor. The less of a sense of humor we have, the more we become like our enemy. Look at them. After all, you cannot deny that they have a religion, and they have a faith, and they are patriotic. but they have no sense of humor. which explains why when osama said, "Hey, if you kill yourself and a bunch of americans for allah, when you get to heaven, You will get seventy virgins." No one just went, "Bah ha ha ha! That was great! No, but seriously."

Lighten up and allow them their freedom of speech to say what they will. i mean, certainly things like humor don't justify innocent americans being killed or whatnot, but really - If you don't allow people their freedom of speech, then YOU'RE the one being unpatriotic.

you are right supa, and like i said before I jumpeded the gun a litttle, but all this stuff man its just crazy man just crazy. You know there is video of americans doing lots of "stuff" and even having sex with one another. I know everyone has the right to say what ever they want. but there has to be a line somewere dont you think? Im no pro this or pro that, i tried to be really impartial on all issues but like i said i know a lot off people involved in this stupid war man and im just a little sensetive i guess, i never meant to go on the offensive here.

PS:
there werent just panties over the head pank, there were also killings man, there looking to charge people with murder as well. And I do agree with most of your post, you feel like many americans do and you have every right to feel that way.
