Hi, I want to create a hard copy (printed paper) portfolio of some the designs Ive created, but Im not sure how to print a web page. If the web site was created in 72 dpi RGB resolution I think that means it would print well because its not a CMYK high resolution image, am I correct? Ive already created a CD portfolio but is there a way to print (hard copy) a nice crisp clean image of a web page to show a client/ employer. Thank you |

a 72 dbi RGB image will print fine enough for a hard copy on just about any decent printer, I reccomend a color laser printer, or a four or seven color ink jet.
Print Screen. --> Paste at any resolution you want.
Yep it will just change the actual size of the image, but it will look nice and clear |

he's right about the print screen method. A Tip: See if you can find a Windows shareware or something that will capture it in PDF format. If you're using Mac OSX, screen caps come out in PDF and print wonderfully. |

The only problem I have w/ printing as [Adobe] PDFs is that often it doesn't print certain images and non-css background colors. (Print a page off NetworkSolutions.com to see what I mean) EDIT: "PDF Complete" (came with my PC, don't know who makes it) does the same thing by leaving out images and non-css specified background colors. EDIT #2: PDF Complete: http://www.pdfcomplete.com |
