I want to get all my CDs onto my computer so I can listen to them anytime without the CD. What is a good program that will let me insert a CD, have all the track/album/artist info automatically implemented (like WinAmp and Windows Media player do) and save it directly onto my computer without copy and pasting and file info editing?

Just about any program will do that... I would personally go with iTunes of course. You could use their new lossless compression if you want CD-quality and have the space to store the larger-than-normal files.

But assuming you are on windows and hate iTunes for some weird reason, I used to use CD-DA Extractor when I used a PC. It's pretty fast and does all the automatic lookup stuff.

iTunes! Very fast and works good, just make sure you turn it to "MP3" in the options, otherwise they will go AAC.

I'm a big PC advocate but I tend to agree with everyone here about iTunes.

I use CD-DA Extractor; very good. As deker said, it'll automatically look up track information for you and pop 'em into ID3v1/v2 tags and such.
