Dirty Tricks Tour has come an gone..

I attended, my critique .....

The Bad:
I learned close to NOTHING at this seminar. Why? Because everything discussed, I already had knowledge of.

This seminar was geared towards the newbies most of the time & plugs for products.

I also thought we would have our own computers set up via this misleading webpage . At $79, that's the least they could do. Unfortunately the only computers present was the laptops, if you had sense enough to bring one (I did).

The Good:
It was amazing to see the span of users in the Photoshop community. Young kids, NY weirdos all the way to guys old enough to be my grandfather photoshopping. Some cute females also ;)

Kelby was very humorous during his demonstrations which made it somewhat enjoyable.

Lots of vendors with stuff to sell, good wacom demonstrations.

Overall, I would not spend my $ if I had to do it again, unless it was some sort of 'Advanced' themed seminar.

Bummer. The title is misleading. It's like "Learn the Trade Secrets" Tour. But I guess down and dirty is what you feel like after spending $79 for what you can get out of a book that costs $50.

See, the down and dirty trick was getting you to spend money so they could say stuff you already know...
