...for bookmarks, one big step for my design fetish! I have a "graphics" folder in my bookmarks and i finally deleted the sub folders for "cool sites", which together had like 80+ links of bullsh$t, like a whole bunch of billybussey/derBauer/something ending with "studio.com" links.

So no more site-worship (part of the fetish) for me. Actually i havent looked at them in a real long time.......but for some reason just couldnt delete them. Also, i know like 10x more now than when i bookmarked them...and damn, most of those links sucked. Actually what was even more sickening was the percentage of sites that either werent online anymore, or took down there site and put up a splash for that stupid "May 1st Reboot". That (in my opinion) proves i bookmarked a crap site to begin with. I mean i was n00b-like when i made the bookmarks, so a lot of the sites were the aftermath of an eyecandy explosion, and if they're willing to redesign on the drop of a dime...then they probably care more about attention and leetness than the actual site.

Anywho, Im officially naming Tuesday, April 14th, 2004 as "Stop Being A Whore Day". I havent actually been a whore for a long time, but my filthy whore history still lurks around these parts. Anyone who wants to join in still has like 19 1/2 hours left.

I joined about 2 weeks back when I got my new computer.
I got rid of about 100 bookmarks too :P
Now I only bookmark links that I actually need...like code tutorial pages and so on.
And I know how you feel it's one of those Ahhh... feelings... :P

Yeah, i've got about 100 design sites bookmarked, they sound a bit like yours Rodder, in that they all suck. It's like my useless collection of wild animal posters i had when i was a kid, and still have to this day....even though most of these bookmarks suck i'll most likely hang on to em. :p

My "Bad Sites" folder is where I hide my porn links, and I refuse to comment on my "Golf Carts" folder.

I never ever bookmarked anything before I got my Macs and .Mac. Now that I can sync them to the server and have access to them on all the macs, as well as any windows or mac computer with internet access (through my .mac home page) I bookmark everything! It's pretty handy... I never did it before because with windows i had to reinstall the OS every couple of months and couldn't be bothered to backup and re-import my bookmarks every time. now it's done with a single button press.
