I know there has to be a few of you guys that can draw or paint or somethin. If so, what's your favorite median? For me, I like Bic pens (black) and different size Sharpie pens (black). I dunno why, but I love black ink on white paper ... and pens are awesome shading tools ... even if it is kinda hard to shade with pen ... still worth it. I'll try and take some pictures of a few pictures I drew with pen a few hours ago. They turned out pretty sweet ... kinda what gave me the curiousity to find out what you guys are into as well. Anyway, I'll try and get some decent pictures and post them soon. ;) |

i use 1 to 5 point ink pens, the expensive ones from an art store. they have a soft point and create a nice flow of ink. i also really like using pencils because you can use your finger for smudging and creating shadows. |

I can't draw for ****.. but when I do get in the zone for traditional drawings, its black ink on paper. For some reason, any other color doesn't work with my style of writing or drawing.

32 color box of crayolas (the deluxe box w/ sharpener). i guess i prefer pen and paper, but i normally don't have such tools w/ me when i draw... so it's usually ball point. makes me feel sad and incomplete. |

Airbrush. I love airbrushing. Though ive kinda givin it up since photoshop 5 lol. Also I cant afford any nice equip. cause i keep blowing all the money on computer toys lol. That and my equip sucks. I have really no source of air (never bought a compressor......just cans of compressed air which freeze over and run out very fast) and my parents talked me into a cheap "single action" airbrush....which means i can only control the amount of air, not the amount of air & paint (double action......which lets you paint nice soft gradients etc). Oh well. One day i'll get back into it. |
