I asked befoe for some good video websites. Well know I need to know what programs they use to make videos like that? 1. First what do they use for editing (I have a PC) 2. What programs are used to actuially remove objets or duplicate or add objects, remove a background, etc for videos? 3. What programs are the best for transitions? |

1) Adobe Premiere takes the editing cake. You can also edit in Adobe After Effects. 2) This can be done in Premiere or After Effects. 3) Um.......Premiere is probably the best for straight transitons (meaning nothing fancy..maybe just a simple wipe or slide). But if your after more......After Effects is probably better. Also dont forget alot of those vids include some form of 3D and a lot of photoshop work. |

With PS, you can either import PS filters into your program or try rotoscoping, which basically is saving every frame of the video into one long image (called a filmstrip) and editing frame by frame inside PS. Also alot of elements in a video may originally be from PS and animated in the video app. As to 3d progs, most likely Maya, 3d Studio Max or Lightwave (those being the biggest/most common). You may want to check this out : http://www.ayatoweb.com/ae_tips_e.html Alot of the effects in the link above start with a photoshop image. (also it shows how how these things are done) |
