Not being funny (you certainly weren't) this post just feeds into racial sterotypes. I think the most sensible thing would be to retract it. I could PM you about this but I feel that your post needs confronting head on. I do not claim that you are unique or unusual, or that I may find some of the material amusing, but at it's core it's simply racist and therefore unacceptable, especially for a public forum. |

This was definitely not the right place for this post. We've got a few Asian fella's in here, and this is a highly-political forum, neither of which are a good environment to post things like this.

As an asian ... Its just wrong how we're actually categorised or viewed as just Asians. There are a whole list of other races in the Asia. That includes, Malay, Indian, Indonesian, etc. What you have posted is a typical stereotype description of Singaporean Ah Beng or Ah Lian for the Chinese community, Mat or Minah for the Malay community (terms we use here in SG).While some are true, but most aren't. I've always wondered, if I were to ever visit the States or some European country, how would I be recognized as? I have a mixed look of a Malay and Chinese, though nowadays I always get mistaken as a Chinese cause I'm going out with a Chinese girl  ... Just yesterday a native Chinese lady approached me and spoke to me in Chinese asking for directions(of course, i didn't know how to reply) |

Are Indians really considered Asian? I never knew that. Yes they are in Asia, but it's normally referred to as the "Indian Sub-Continent." Oh an B.J....you're a douche bag. I have to assume you're white or unconcerned with the constant struggle of non-whites in a white society. Your post, while it may not be serious, only serves to feed increasing xenophobia, bigotry, and racism. |

I think sidez is being a bit sensitive. I'm asian, and I don't care. I honestly don't. But I will admit that this is a damn stupid post, so if BJ would promptly shut up. GG, bish. |
