I've known this kid for about my entire life, even though he's not a particularly close friend. He's one of those 'default friends' who despite the fact that you dont hang out with him every weekend, you know each other pretty well, just because you've known each other forever. That notwithstanding, yesterday I was shocked to find that his mother was murdered that night, and left near their house, in the parking lot of a funeral home. http://iknowrochester.com/news/local/story.aspx?content_id=ECA5AFB5-6649-4D47-B7AF-7EF4007866CD There's obviously more to this than what this article says, and among those close to him and his mother, we know more, but I don't want to say anything until things have been sorted out a little. has anyone dealt with a situation like this? I mean, how do you approach it? |

Well, there was something here kinda where a neighbor also one of their children was one of my mothers students. Well, the oldest son, was whacked out on drugs and took a sword and stabbed his father with it while he was sleeping next to his mother. He ran from the cops for like 3 hours. It was just really weird and it was just all anyone talked about.

I dunno why exactly I felt like posting this, but if nothing else it's a noteworthy event. The entire situation has been for the most part solved, and believe you me, it's a bizarre story: This kid, like myself, had litttle to no contact with his father growing up. Unlike my father however, his father refused to pay child support, and had recently been asked by the mother to pay up. Now, the father lived in Michigan for the past 19 years, and was a commercial airline pilot, so needless to say, he could easily have afforded to pay the required child support sum on a monthly basis. He had refused, however, and the past-due amount had snowballed into some 70 THOUSAND dollars, which he quite likely did not have saved, nor did he intend to pay at any given time. So, on Sunday 4/7, sometime in the mid to late evening, his father drove to Rochester, and showed up at their home, and an argument ensued between the mother and father. The son lives in town, on the RIT campus. On this night, however, he happened to be home. His father left, then later called his mother, and requested that they talk at a local starbucks. She agreed, obviously not thinking that he intended to kill her. So, she left their house, and at 9:30 the same night, a shots-fired call was made to the police department. Cops allegedly reported onto the scene, but claimed that there was nothing but a car in the parking lot. At 1:30 am, the morning of monday the eighth, upon further investigation, the woman's body was found next to a guardrail in the parking lot, which is why the police hadn't seen her earlier. Obviously though, they should have looked harder. Now, the father obviously ran. An APB was issued sometime upon learning that the father was in the area, and he was spotted in Ohio, heading back into Michigan, at 6:45 pm on tuesday where he, upon seeing a cop car next to his ON THE INTERSTATE shot himself in the head, while going about 100 mph. More info is posted on our local newspaper's website here. It kind of makes me glad that despite the fact that I never met my father until october of 2003, that he's apparently not insane enough to have tried something like this. I guess this is also why I've never been depressed, because I know that as bad as things may ever get with me, and my 'issues', I always know that they could be worse, and for someone, somewhere, they are. I just never thought that that someone would be a friend of mine. |

hey at least the murderer had enough sense to drop this chick off at the funeral home... i think that is very admirable. I mean if your going to kill someone the least take them to a funeral. If i were that guy i would of actually held a after murder party and had all the people come in and drink beer and have a good time about her old days. well thats just me. That damn kid who killed his family has no honor he didn't even pull them an inch closer to the funeral home. hey dude above me don't write so much, i didn't read what you had to say because humans are lazy and i can guarantee noone is going to read that crap. hey and Mihai, why the hell did you post if all you had to say was you have no advice. what good is that man thats just dumb! |

Yeah, BP, I know you're new here, but I think that with my comparatively high post count of 577 (which is few around here) I can quite confidently assume that others are in agreement with me when I say choose your words more carefully in matters like this. Serious topics are frequently discussed on this forum, specifically in this section, and if nothing else, don't go saying sh*t like that with only 10 posts under your belt. Furthermore, as for issues like 'post length'? Come on...what are you, like 11 years old? The post was about 300 words, if even. Also, a bit of friendly advice from me to you would be to do the following:

BigPoppa: You're a douche bag, go away, you are unwanted. I hope you're sterile too so your offspring do not pollute the gene pool. Pganguly: Sorry about the news. I have never been in a situation like that. It must be rough for your friend, I would get him involved in stuff with you so that it can help him move on. |

dear Pganguly I am not here to stick up for Big Poppa because i know what he did was wrong on every level! But i would like to say he didn't get his name from B.I.G. his name was originally Big Poppa Anal Beads, you can see this by just going to the MakeMeKing.com site. I am not here to promote the site either, we get a ton of traffic in just the first few months so i am not doing that, i just want to show people the facts. Thanks |
