Hey, I haven't the slightest idea weather it's worth it or not. I think something like this... there is so many good artists and graphics out there who still uses Ps5, and I've got 7, so how much "real" things that you actually need can it be in the CS ? I'll stick with my 7 'til I get proven wrong ;) But as I said, I really don't know. Patric. |

Honestly, I prefer 5.5 or 6.. prefer the text functions in 6. I'm now running CS in school.. Seen nothing much other than the better file browser |

haha - go to the adobe site - you'll learn a lot of "great. must have" new features... it may be covered in gold...it won't make you work better...maybe a little faster - you decide if you're wealthy enough |

I read somewhere that the way to tell if an upgrade is "worth it" or not is to gauge your willingness to work in the previous version. Let's just say I can't stand working in PS 7 anymore. Here's why: 1. If you deal with lots of photos, the File Browser alone is reason to upgrade. it's incredibly better. 2. Shadow/Highlight feature baffles me. It's great. 3. Filter Gallery is cool, customizable Keyboard shortcus are pretty cool, improvements to Contact Sheet Dailog menu are really nice additions. If you're looking to spend a few bucks on a graphics app, however, a better upgrade is Illustrator CS from v10 - that's a no brainer. Get CS. Font previewing has eluded Illy forever, until now! It was like christmas when I opened it! :D hope that helps. |

The Indesign upgrade from 2.0 to CS is extremly worth it as well. So right there, if you upgrade to the bundle, you have a great package. By the way, Adobe has made it so all you need to own is Photoshop to upgrade and legally own Indesign and Illustrator as well. Such a great deal in my opinion. |
