Hey. I don't know of any scripts that would do that, I just know that it is called a "Reseller Account". It makes it possible to do just what you want to do. You will want to contact your webhost right now and ask if they offer reseller accounts, because that is what you will need to be able to do that kind of thing.

Go to cPanel > Account Settings > FTP Manager > FTP Accounts > Add Account

Then create the account with the user name as the sub directory you want it to be. Like if I wanted to create elivy.com/dragon I would set the username to "dragon" then add the password. The FTP access for what would be ftp.elivy.com and then login as "dragon@elivy.com" then the password. That would allow them to access their folder only. If you add a subdomain that has the same name as the folder it will login the same but the domain would be dragon.elivy.com.\

EDIT: and you need an account that allows subdomains to do this. For more hosting info check out www.webhostingtalk.com.

There's no actual free script that you can just install on a normal site. Hosting companies probably won't allow that either.

There's a few reseller capable hosting applications like cPanel/WHM(one of the more user friendly ones) .. just pay a monthly fee for a reseller account, then set your own pricing.

Go to Cpanel.net for a demo of both cPanel and WHM

Yeah, you still need a reseller account even if it's free.

If you are going to distribute space and give people subdomains with FTP and stuff, you will need resellers accounts. Trust me, we know what we are talking about. ;)

Well, I'll have to see first, I don't really get allowance from my parents or anything just my own money saved up from here and there. Then I have to save enough for other stuff too.

Edit: Couldn't I alsoo just buy a hosting plan that's not reseller but provides unlimited bandwidth space, ftp, subdomains, domains?

Anyhow also, here's the script i was planning to use. http://www.cyberscript.net/
However, I'm not sure how I would use that in combination with a reseller plan, how would I provide the users who register with a mysql database automatedly instead of me having to accept or do anything of any sort. I'd just like it where it's like geocities, register, and make your site, except I'd like to provide php and mysql databases

Big saying in the hosting business.. There's no such thing as unlimited bandwidth and space.. If someone offers you that, be prepared to have your account kicked out after they see you're hitting their limit.
