Tired of seeing them at the top of the standings. ALTHOUGH they'd better beat the Islanders this week to help bump my injury stricken Rangers up the standings. ;)

The Avs will trash the Islanders, no worries.

Rangers??? Ewww. How's that Jagr deal working out for ya, 2-6 or something since the trade? Man, I'm glad the Avs didn't pick up that joker. It was nice to see Egghead Lindros doing well, I hope he comes back soon. He was having a good year. I like Brian Leetch, too. He's a bad ass.

Hey, I love the Rangers. As long as they have a team full of overpaid floaters, it nearly guarantees the Habs at least one spot higher in the standings.

On a side note, did you know that Jaromir anagramed is "Mario Jr". That was kinda spooky when he dominated on the Pens.

Jagr has done very well with the Rangers since the trade.

He has 4 goals and 4 assists in 7 games. I'd say thats pretty good.

As for the Rangers record since getting Jagr.........one man cant make a team win. You should know that. With the injuries that the blueshirts have sustained lately its kinda hard to play at full potential.

And yes, Leetch is a great player too. I feel the rangers problem IS the defense. Including the goaltending.

where ya been??? jeez :rolleyes: Avs were defeated by the Detroit Re.... ferees.

To summarize....

...the Refs swallowed their whistles for the whole 3rd period, where Maltby sucker-punched Kariya & Tanguay, McCarty tackled Joe Sakic with 2 minutes left - none of which were called. Therefore, keeping the NHL's best power play off the ice. Then, with 1.6 seconds left, the stupid bastards remembered the whistles, and called Konowalchuk for a double minor high-sticking - which he didn't do, Paul Kariya did. Then, Adam Foote knocked out a couple of Stevie Y's teeth with another high stick off the faceoff (stupid move, but it'll fire this rivalry back up).

with a 5 on 3 OT Power play, Brett Hull won it.

Better be watching this Saturday at noon on ABC (pacific time) It's gonna get ugly. Like I like it!

Yeah... sounds like it was ALL the refs, gguy!!! How they don't all get fired I'll never know. I'm sure your Cheatinrado Avwhinalanch would have won it if it hadn't been for the Evil Zebras.

If Foote knocked out a couple of Stevie Y's teeth, you can bet MAC-truck-Carty will be doing MORE than tackling on Saturday. I'll have to see if I can find the game on down here, y'all!
