A friend of mine have an architect business. He's got a minolta camera. but he's heard of a canon addon that makes it possible to take several shots from one point and then get all those pic's into one big "panorama-" pic. Does anyone, first of all understand what I'm talking about, hehe, and second of all know anything about any proggie that can make several pic's into one panoramashot, so to speak ?

Patric.

PS. I would imagen that this is easy to do in PS (if so, it might be a job for your's truly;)...)...But he's not in possession of a copy, nor is he a photoshopper at all, so the learning curve for this exceeds his needs. But a program as described above would be great for him. DS.

I have on my Canon A70 a option to take panorama pictures.
It gives you a mark where you should take the next photo.

then it came with a program that puts the photos together as a panorama image.
But I'm not sure if it's just for Canon or does it work with another camera too.
But it's one of those pretty simple programs to use...
But I do think that it would become better quality to just use photoshop.
I can check what the program is called when I come home.

Please do, Björn. If possible, could you also check if it's ok to use with other camera's...as Minolta ? Would be greatly appriciated.

There's a rotating stand that's used solely for rotational panoramic compositions — it's like a rotating tripod. The name/company escapes my memory at the moment...
