I took a quick glance at school (on a slow eMac, but on OSX), and then I looked it through once more when I got home. Great, another filter tutorial. Good tutorials should train people to learn the program, not create a 5-second "wow" effect. Work on placement and layout of diagrams/screenshots and textual directions (look at TPS tuts or other popular ones).

As far as being a tutorial goes, it's well explained, and nicely done. I won't comment on the effect, but the tutorial as a tutorial is nice. |

Change that line. A tutorial is for ppl who are "learning".....so saying SPIN but meaning the wave filter may cause some confusion (like the zoom filter or twirl etc.). Also instead of SPIN......try rotate (when talkin bout the transform). Its a tutorial...you have to be accurate. Also where do you say "create a new layer"?? that might help. |

But thanks for your input bro~! :D |

no, I agree, moochan is right. It has nothiung to do with skill... it's a filter effect and those are cool if you got photoshop yesterday but we need photoshop tutes that will teach people how to use the tools, and all.

meh stop whining. it's just constructive criticism. get used to the truth if you wanna stay, or go to another forum and get people there to lie to you. |
