ohhh, i see. Apple sure know how to make some cool software. Pitty it's only on the mac. That song was cool u23, some parts did make me laugh a bit though ;) Sounds like you could churn out some pretty cool music with that though |

Yeah you can plug a guitar in, and it has like 15 software amps as well, so you get all your guitar sounds though your Mac rather than a big amp.

So is GB pretty effective as far as regular instrument recording goes? All I could tell from the iLife promo movie and 10 minutes at the mac store was that it was really loop based. I use Cool Edit Pro for my recording stuff and GB felt more like Acid. Is it the type of software that I hook an external soundcard to via firewire? Oh yeah, nice groove U. |

Derek, did you ever find out if GarageBand will accept .wav format loops? I guess µ could answer that too. |
Derek, did you ever find out if GarageBand will accept .wav format loops? I guess µ could answer that too.
I remember back when I used to be good enough to ask ;) Adding an audio file from the Finder You can add a loop or other audio file (in AIFF, WAV, or MP3 format) to a song by dragging it directly from the Finder to the timeline. You can drag the audio file either to a Real Instrument track or to an empty area below the existing tracks. When you add an MP3 file by dragging it to the timeline, the file is converted to an AIFF file which is stored as part of the song. |

I'm not used to asking you Pank. You've been around more in the last month than you have been in 3 years.
