Here is the dealio. My teacher gave us an assignment to write a 26 sentence story about anything, as long as it made sense and each sentence started with a new letter in ABC order. It was actually pretty fun, which is a change for once. If any of you guys are bored enough to want to give it a try, go for it. :p Read mine, comment on it or whatever, thanks in advance for those who do.

EDIT: there was one other rule. You could only use TWO names for the begining of a sentence

A Hero Bear

A long time ago, there once was a bear named Zero. Bears usually have very special heritage, and Zero had special heritage, he had a very special grandfather. Coming from the woods of the north, Grandpa Joey was a very special bear. Deer hunting season was approaching, and this was not a good thing. Even though the hunter’s would normally hunt deer, it was very common for them to see a bear and accidentally shoot it.

Fall of 1987 came two weeks later. Grandpa Joey set out on a mission, one that had been given to him by the head bear council. Head bear council had declared that the madness of bears getting shot had to be stopped. In the end, they appointed Grandpa Joey to sneak up behind the hunters and attack them, killing them. Joey, that is, Grandpa Joey, was very excited for this task. Killing hunters would not be easy, but he would go down in bear history. Last minute preparing, and Grandpa Joey was off to fulfill his task. Morning was the time that Grandpa Joey was ready to attack. Not making any noise, Grandpa Joey spotted the first hunter in the distance. Overly excited, he almost let out a loud yell from happiness. Perfectly incognito, he crawled until he was behind the hunter. Quietly getting to his hind legs, he lifted his paw, and swipe! Ralph the Hunter was dead with one heavy blow to the head. Snickering, Grandpa Joey walked away looking for other hunters. Two hours later, he came to another hunter. Using his same technique, he managed to kill this hunter. Very satisfied, he headed back for his journey back to the bear council.

Welcomed back by the Bear Council, he was presented an award. Xylotron of Honor, he was very happy with his award. You see, back in those days, Xylotron was the highest award of honor you could achieve as a bear. Zero was very happy to here this story, and is very proud of his grandpa up to this very day.

"very happy to 'hear' this story." :D

Do you know why s/he made you do that? It's because a lot of times when people write, they tend to use the same sentence structure over and over again. "He went to the store. He came home. He went to bed and then he woke up." In this story, you have started sentences almost 26 different ways, which is a good thing to practice. Good job.

I've given that assignment before... you did a really good job. I would change your "M" sentance to something like "Morning found Grandpa Joey prepared and ready to attack." The only problem I see is that you start out a lot of sentances with verbs and adverbs. i.e. "Not making any noise...Overly excited...Perfectly incognito...Quietly getting...Snickering...Very satisfied..." and good use of X. I find Xavier to be a good one to use too...

Thank you very much for the comments. Here is my finished product.

A Hero Bear

A long time ago, there once was a bear named Zero. Bears usually have very special heritage, and Zero had a very unique grandfather. Coming from the woods of the north, Grandpa Joey was a very extraordinary bear. Deer hunting season was approaching, and this was not a good thing. Even though the hunters would normally hunt deer, it was very common for them to see a bear and intentionally shoot it.
Fall came, which brought with it the dreaded hunting season. Grandpa Joey set out on a mission, one that had been given to him by the head bear council. Head bear council had declared that the madness of bears getting shot had to be stopped. In the end, they appointed Grandpa Joey to sneak up behind the hunters to attack and kill them. Joey, that is, Grandpa Joey to be precise, was very excited about this task. Killing hunters would not be easy, but he would go down in bear history as a hero. Last minute preparations were made before Grandpa Joey went off to fulfill his task. Morning came, and Grandpa Joey was ready to begin attacking. Not making any noise, Grandpa Joey spotted the first hunter in the distance. Overly excited, he almost let out a loud roar from happiness. Perfectly incognito, he crawled until he was behind the hunter. Quietly getting to his hind legs, he lifted his paw, and swiped! Ralph the Hunter was dead with one heavy blow to the head. Snickering, Grandpa Joey walked away looking for other hunters. Two hours later, he came to another hunter. Using his same technique, he managed to kill this hunter. Very satisfied about his accomplishments, he headed back to the bear council.
Welcomed back joyously by the Bear Council, he was presented an award of honor, which had an unusual name, called Xylotron. Xylotron of Honor Ceremony was held that day, and Grandpa Joey was very happy with his award. You see, back in those days, Xylotron was the highest award of honor you could achieve as a bear. Zero was very happy to hear this story, and is very proud of his grandpa, up to this very day.

I used a lot of your suggestions. Thanks for the 2 who helped. :p :D

So you're how old and this is for what class?

The story is fine, it just seems like something one would do in 6th grade.
