Yes, I was reading about this on another forum and there were some who thought that it infringed on their rights. If I want to scan and alter pictures of dollar bills, its my own business. Its only illegal (from what they said) if I make more money or something. I dunno - but not everyone was happy with it. And I dont have a clue where that forum was so ... sorry. :( |

See, if you kids would pop over to the Adobe forums once in a while, you could have discussed this issue in a few MONSTER threads. Guess who originally related the story to a wide audience on Slashdot? :p :D  :D :p |
Beacause we all rely on slashdot for info?!?!!:p Oh, sorry I mean my hero!??! :p
Not necessarily, you twit. Because I posted it there, and because they receive so much traffic, the story quickly zoomed round the world. So you don't rely on Slashdot for info. That's OK. You don't count. But apparently people from AP, television and cable news networks DO look to Slashdot for breaking tech info. :p  |

I am very unhappy about this. Not because I regularly scan money, hehe, but every limitation Adobe has makes it less powerful. Its limitations are incredibly scarce in number, but this money thing counts as one. I don't care if they're helping the government by doing it, because they're not hurting them by NOT doing it. Poo. |
