Problem connecting to mIRC

Allô, here is my prob

I used to get in the teamps channel sometimes, but ever since I got my new pc, when I try to connect to the server where is located teamps ( TheOtherSide ) I get a message saying ''Unable to resolve server'' and can't connect to it...

I don't know much about irc... anyone know what it means?

well the server changed to irc2.othersideirc.net but the #teamps channel is not up anymore.

We should put up a new one if the one is down.
I have just recently picked up IRC and I'm using it daily now.
Someone should put a new room on IRCnet :D

Yeah whats goin on with that?? it *was* up....but wasnt working right (i thought it crashed) but then chanserv hasnt come back in like a month. Did it expire...so it needs to be claimed again (im not sure who owned it last....)??

yeah.....though its always (usually) empty.

Edited (removed) : I posted an idea, using something like this ( ) in our sigs to let ppl know where on, but i think im just gonna give up. irc drives me insane lol

Im one that thinks the idea will never succeed, simply due to the fact that Paavo, PowerfulSquid and I sat in that room alone many a day, making posts begging people to come chat, and the most we ever got was 10 or so, sooo that leads me to believe its not something the community want(ed) maybe things are different now

I am a natural born chatter, I used to pop in the irc Teamps channel all the time to see if anyone was there. Most of the time me and Rodder sat there alone chatting. I think it would be fun to have the channel back if more ppl would go there.
