Clyde Lamar Pace II made two mistakes Thursday.

The first, Polk County sheriff's deputies say, was when he emptied his pockets to pass through a courthouse metal detector and apparently forgot about the small bag of marijuana.

The second was when he ran the wrong way from deputies into a locked revolving door.

I have another, almost as awesome one. I was at film school for a few weeks and my roomie was the biggest pothead. He was really high one night and we were sitting on a park bench that was bolted to the cement walkway. I said I would pay him ten dollars to lift it with me sitting on it (he didn't know it was bolted down) and he tried for half an hour before giving up. He would be about to give and I would say "Oh, I felt it move a bit! Keep on going!" and he would go another five minutes until he hurt his arm.

Later on we stuck him in a dryer and turned it on. Those were some good times.

I was following a friend of mine back in high school as we drove to an event at another school (this guy is a total stoner.) Along the way we see those wooden foldouts that highway contruction workers use to block off work areas - you know, the a-frames with the diagonal orange bars and the light on top of it. As we're passing this abandoned work site, my friend slows down, pulls over, pops the trunk, walks out of his car, picks up an a-frame, sticks it in his trunk, closes the trunk, walks back to the wheel and proceeds to drive on to the event as if nothing happened. I couldn't stop laughing the whole way there.
