I made something for my school once. They never said it was going on a t-shirt to the design that I made turned out good... digitally, and totally horrid printed on cloth.

Not really a non profit org, but I designed hostradius.com for free.. and as part of a local SonyEricsson sponsored user group, i coded their membership backend in PHP.
