I'm making a plug for a friend--well, my best friend; my wife. I'm incredibly proud of her. With much more determination, discipline, and talent than I could ever muster, she completed her first novel. It is a Fantasy novel, about ~85K words. The working title is "Redheart".

Redheart, is about a reclusive dragon and how the friendship of a young woman draws him into facing his forgotten past, and the future he'd stopped believing in.

She will be pitching it to a couple of editors and agents out in California at a Writer's Conference in a couple of weeks. She wants as many names, states, and countries--to show her ability to self market, etc--on her mailing list. No information will be sold or shared, and you will probably receive no more than a couple emails total over the next few years as her book gets sold and published.

You guys are the most helpful (and geographically diverse) bunch of guys I know. If my request bothers you, I apologize. If it doesn't, please help her out!

But with you pitching it here, that's not exactly self-promotion. :D

Is that her on the site? Not bad looking. :p

I've already recieved my couple of emails, I don't want anymore! (just kidding, it was the confirmation and welcome emails).

Awesome guys!!! She was bouncin' in her chair when she saw you guys added 3 new countries and a handful of new states!!!

I've already recieved my couple of emails, I don't want anymore! (just kidding, it was the confirmation and welcome emails).

Oops, MBB... yeah, I forgot to count those in my preview of emails to come

Sorry, duo--I was a bit short-sited when I put the mailing list script in... it's a canned pkg with the backend to do the auto-mailers response, unsubscribe, and tracking. I used SonicMailerPro--I highly recommend it.
