Governements can have all thesse informations... but I would be surpirsed if the pizza boy could get them...

You have right to privacy and this would be a flafrant act against it...

Not if it preserved 'national security'.

I have a feeling that that phrase will become the reason for a lot of new legislation that will, over time, ultimately add up to a system like the one MobileBadBoy posted up there.

I don't think that these policies will be enacted all at once, but people, for the sake of national security, are willing to be inconvenienced while their civil liberties are infringed upon ever so slightly. Thus, the process, though slow, may in fact happen.

Yeah, I think that (if ever) it'll be a long time before this is as commonplace as ordering a pizza, but it's really not too far of a stretch overall. I mean, if you think of all of the various numbers you'll need throughout your life (SSN, Insurance #, Driver's Liscense #, even Telephone #) It does stand to reason that one day those will be homogenized into one, either national, or international, identification system.

Whether this is a good thing, or a bad thing though, is highly debatable. Beyond the semantics, however, is the actual physical system of enacting this policy, including how the necessary computers will track one's ID number, and thus the person themself. I think that day is far on the horizon, but it is on the horizon.
