At least 20,000 people have died...

Apparently, 30,000 people have died thus far, and there are apparently 50,000 believed dead in total. They're apparently using mass graves to get all of the bodies buried ASAP, to avoid the spread of disease.

Yeah thats one their main page... thats insane, they should have probably seen this coming and did something about it (if they had the money to do so that is..)

In that other artical that 3jorn posted it said that...
"Since 1991, tremors have claimed some 17,600 lives and injured 53,000 people, according to official figures"

That is really sad... hopefully things dont reach 50,000 and they find alot of people still alive.

haha... a little harsh dont you think? Afterall it really wasnt the people that were giving us all the problems, just their leader and a some stupid rebels.
