yeah its a nice thing for people who dont have that much music but want more than the usual crappy 128mb.

Yeah, these have been a big thing on spymac.com. They're also rumored to be flash based, so they'll be all solid state. Also, as far as colors go, I don't think they'll make too many different colors. They may, however make them with interchangeable, cell phone like cases, that snap on and off. Also, this could mean other big things for Apple, in that they may now release some of the other highly speculated products, like an iPhone, or an iPad, which is a rumored PDA, like a Pocket PC, but running obviously a stripped down version of OS X. Both of these, on various speculation forums like spymac or slashdot, are 'said to' share functions with iPods in that they will have a considerable MP3 storage capability, with a relatively minimal size, as is Apple's trademark, to streamline products to the greatest extent.

Also...and this is highly speculative, but with RAM capacities increasing on motherboards, and speed increasing therein as well, it is thought that within the next 5 to 10 years, that operating systems will be onboard, and there will be no boot-disk as we now know it. Onboard BIOS will store all necessary boot information, including the OS itself, and potentially (again, highly speculative) user preferences (wallpaper, password setttings) will be stored on portables, such as iPods, other MP3 players, or phones, operating with bluetooth capabilities.
